Symposium: Toward establishment of appropriate identification system of beneficial shareholders in Japan

The Institute of Comparative Law of Waseda University hosts an international symposium on “Toward establishment of appropriate identification system of beneficial shareholders in Japan: Insights from comparative study of European laws.” , as below, on December 11th. Currently, strengthening the transparency of beneficial ownership of public companies has discussed at the Legislative Council of the Ministry of Justice. The symposium at Waseda will focus on comparative legal aspects of beneficial owners' disclosure measures with France, Germany Italy and the UK.
